On December 3, Patinter
was present at the seminar "Working with Difference", organized by
CLDS4G Mangualde in partnership with the Association Parents-in-Network -
Mangualde branch. The initiative took place within the International
Day of Disabled People celebrations, and Patinter guided its
participation by presenting its testimony as an employer of people with
disabilities. The spokespersons for Patinter were Fernando Neves,
Financial Director, and Sónia Oliveira, Human Resources Technician.
The main goal of the event was to inform and raise awareness among the
business community of the region, the local Private Institutions of
Social Solidarity (IPSS) and institutions, as well as the community in
general for the problem of the low rate of employment of people with
disabilities in the region, encouraging their hiring.
